In partnership with the National Organization for Rare Disorders (NORD), the mission of JHU 4Rare is to spread awareness and recognition of rare diseases, build patient & professional connections, and become active contributors to the rare disease space.
Members of the JHU 4Rare organization will have the opportunity to enroll in seizure training, engage in volunteerism and shadowing, attend the National Organization for Rare Disorders (NORD) D.C. event, join a lively pre-med community, and, most importantly, amplify the voices of rare disease-affected individuals both on and off-campus.
