Mission ABC Health is a student-led initiative that aims to advocate for the health needs of the underserved members of the surrounding Baltimore community. We assist clinics and aid groups in their mission to deliver accessible and good quality healthcare to underinsured and uninsured patients in the community. Among other activities, we participate in monthly trips to the local farmer's market, in which members assemble pertinent health information, preventative care tips, and free resources like brochures and present them to the community. On top of that, our members volunteer at clinics that offer free or reduced services to patients who are uninsured or underinsured. Finally, we engage in community service that aims to aid those in need throughout the Baltimore community.
Membership BenefitsMembers have to opportunity to venture outside the classroom and into the Baltimore community to do meaningful volunteer work with a group of students who are all passionate about community health. Members receive information about clinical/shadowing experiences near Hopkins and also have access to leadership opportunities within the club.
