Please join us in Washington DC on May 20-24 for the first U.S. Vision Zero Academy, presented in partnership with the Swedish Transport Administration, the founders of the global Vison Zero movement. 

Johns Hopkins University is pleased to offer the 5-day course featuring instructors from the Swedish government alongside U.S. road safety leaders to provide attendees with an in-depth understanding of Vision Zero and Safe System theory and practice. 

U.S. interest and investment in Vision Zero has never been higher. With hundreds of communities now working on Actions Plans for the Safe Streets and Roads for All (SS4A) grant program, the course offers a timely opportunity for SS4A recipients to learn directly from the originators about how to apply Safe System principles at the community level. The course will include a tour of local Vision Zero road improvements and a technology symposium at the Swedish Embassy.

To ensure that participants get the full benefit of interaction with our instructors, the class size is limited to 35 students.
