The JHU Carey Business School seeks a dynamic Social Media Student Ambassador to represent the #JHUCarey voice on social media. The ambassador will be part of a team active on social media platforms and create authentic content, facilitate student conversations, and form connections that promote Carey in innovative and engaging ways. The ambassador will work closely with the Social Media Manager and Social Media Specialist in day-to-day operations, overall strategy, and expanding brand awareness tactics.
The ideal student ambassador will be well-versed in social media landscapes including LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, X, and TikTok, and be able to follow trends, create engaging content, and build a community of Carey students.
Must include social media handles (with public profiles) and samples of content creation work (e.g., social media accounts, videos, blog posts, etc.).

The Transcendental Meditation® (TM) course teaches a simple, natural, and effortless meditation practice to be done twice each day while sitting comfortably with the eyes closed. Through the TM practice, students can reduce stress and anxiety, decrease the impacts of depression and trauma, improve sleep, and improve intelligence, creativity and your learning ability.
In order to participate students must attend a zoom information session and fill out the application. More extensive details about the program can be found both in the application and on the newly created JHU TM website.

Transportation options
This is a reminder that, as a Carey student, you have several free transportation options available to you. Be sure to check the shuttle website for up-to-dates schedules.
Harbor East students:
· There is a regular shuttle from the Homewood campus around class times - the Homewood–Carey Business School Express Shuttle (with stops at the Pava Center for Entrepreneurship)
· The East Baltimore Blue Jay Shuttle is a shuttle service that provides convenient commuting trips to and from the East Baltimore campus, including the Carey Business School and Peabody. The shuttle offers a free service to all Johns Hopkins affiliates to and from their residences and the campuses within the service area. The Blue Jay Shuttle operates in an area proximate to the East Baltimore campus daily from 5 a.m. – 9 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. – 12 a.m.
DC students:
· There is a free JHU shuttle from all surrounding Metro stations to the Hopkins Bloomberg Center.
· DC students also have the UPass Metro card that covers transportation on the Metro.
