Mission
The Medical Technology Network at Hopkins is a student-run organization that provides medical device development opportunities and encourages the generation of creative and innovative solutions to current medical problems. We also facilitate networking with engineers, doctors, IP lawyers, entrepreneurs and venture capitalists. Our mission is to promote the development of medical device technologies at JHU by: Facilitating networking opportunities with students and professionals, educating students about the process of medical device development, and advising and supporting students engaged in biomedical research.

Membership Benefits
Members of the Medtech network have the opportunity to participate in as well as organize a variety of events to improve student skills or connections. These include events such as programming and Arduino workshops as well as speaker series where students can hear from those leading the fields of their interest. Members will gain connections through running and/or participating in networking fair events where they can meet with potential employers and companies in the medical technology industry.
