Mission
The Hopkins Student Wind Energy Team (HSWET) aims to expose undergraduate students to the wind energy industry through a combination of hands-on wind turbine design and testing, the creation of a project development plan for a wind farm, and on/off-campus educational initiatives. The team strives to improve the network of renewable energy and sustainable business extracurricular opportunities for undergraduate students at Johns Hopkins and in the broader Baltimore community through their participation in the Department of Energy Collegiate Wind Competition on an annual basis.
