Masking policy relaxed on university shuttles and buses

Given the continued improvements in COVID trends and after consultation with university experts in public health and infectious disease, Johns Hopkins University has decided to relax its masking policy for vaccinated affiliates on university shuttles and buses, effective Tuesday, March 15.

Masking on university shuttle services will be optional for those who are vaccinated and boosted. Those who have been granted exceptions from the university's vaccination and/or booster mandate will still be required to wear masks on shuttles. A list of routes and services affected by this change is available on the Transportation Services website.

Health System shuttles will continue to require masking for all passengers until further notice.

Consistent, proper use of high-quality face masks is one of the most effective measures to limit the spread of COVID, and students, faculty, and staff are encouraged to continue masking if that makes them more comfortable and/or if they have particular circumstances that influence their personal risk tolerance.

Student Organizations
RSO Officer Transition

It's the season for RSO (registered student organization) officer transition.  LEED is reminding all RSOs to add new officers to their Hopkins Groups page after your elections/selection process.  Graduating seniors will be automatically removed from Hopkins Groups after graduation, and LEED wants to be sure we are communicating with the appropriate officers.

Re-Registration

Registered student organization re-registration happens each year from August 1 - September 30. Prospective RSOs will also be able to register during this time period.  Updates will be shared over the summer with Officers listed in Hopkins Groups so be sure to update new student officers.  For prospective organizations, information will also be posted on the Hopkins Groups Website.
