Hi everyone!
Sorry for the late notice but we have postponed the Game Night until after after spring break. There are two events happening involving speakers of Mexican heritage at the same time and we want to allow you all the opportunity to attend these:
1) Book Talk with Author Alejandra happening from 6-8pm in the Glass Pav: MASA members have been specifically invited to this event! "Join the FLI (First-Generation, Limited-Income) Network for a book discussion featuring Alejandra Campoverdi, an advocate for women's health, bestselling author, and former White House aide, who will share insights from her national bestseller First Gen. Join the conversation as she discusses navigating social mobility as a first-generation Latina."
2) Foreign Affairs Symposium: Ellen Ochoa happening from 7-8pm in Shriver: "Ellen Ochoa is a trailblazing figure in science, engineering, and space exploration, renowned for her groundbreaking achievements and leadership in aerospace technology. As the first Hispanic woman to travel to space, Ochoa made history aboard the space shuttle Discovery in 1993." Read more here: https://hub.jhu.edu/events/2024/03/14/fas-2024-presents-ellen-ochoa/
