Mission
Founded in 2023, MOTION’s purpose is to explore various aspects of dances that emerged from black culture. This includes hip-hop, step, and majorette which will be subdivisions of the team. With a focus on learning and refining skills related to dance, MOTION encourages others to explore their own expression of dance. MOTION is committed to exploration, growth, and learning. Through the exploration of various foundational aspects of Hip-Hop, MOTION hopes to encourage members of our team to explore areas of dance they may have not tried before and work on improving and expanding their dance style. MOTION aims to share its passion, creativity, and energy with its routines at performances throughout the year to showcase its work.
