First Reading of the Student Perspective Interview Initiative Funding Bill
Senator Christian Bakhit introduced a Student Perspective Interview Initiative Funding Bill, which will move away from traditional methods of gathering student input via tabling events and surveys toward a more personalized approach involving interviews with students, collaborating with CMC’s director for recording coordination, and cooperating with the Digital Media Center (DMC) to procure camera equipment and video editing. The funding bill concerns ten medium blue jay plushies for each interviewee, amounting to a budget of $160. It was successfully moved to the Finance Committee.
The meeting adjourned following the passing of the Sophomore Class Council Tabling Funding Bill presented by Sophomore President Stone Meng. The tabling is set to take place at the Breezeway in late September/early October with insomnia cookies.
