About Us

The Black Graduate Student Association (BGSA) is an academic and professional affinity organization at Carey Business School.

Our mission is to:

  • Celebrate and support the experiences of Black graduate students at Carey.
  • Provide resources, mentorship, and opportunities for academic, professional, and personal growth.
  • Create safe and supportive spaces where all students feel valued, respected, and included.
  • Build connections among Black Carey students, alumni, and allies across Johns Hopkins and beyond.
  • Partner with employers, organizations, and community leaders who share our commitment to equity and inclusion.
