Student Organizations Leader End of Year 2021 Financial Deadlines

We know this has been a challenging and unusual semester but hope SLI and DOSL staff were able to make things a little less stressful by updating you all as COVID-19 changed our lives.      

As the end of the semester approaches, we wanted to make you aware of several important deadlines. Per the Registered Student Organization Financial Policies, all financial transactions and submissions must be completed by the last day of finals, May 14th. We know that many of you will be eager to spend down your remaining budget prior to the end of the semester. To help, we have created a timeline with dates for when financial transactions need to be submitted to meet the May 14th deadline.  

• Deadline to submit new Purchasing and Reimbursement Requests is May 3rd.

All Purchasing and Reimbursement Request must be submitted 10 days prior to the last day of final exams—May 14th.  

• Deadline to submit all your final receipts for reimbursement: May 14th.  

Student Leadership and Involvement will not process any reimbursements beyond this deadline, so please plan accordingly. Please make sure your summer mailing address is up to date or your check will be sent to the wrong address! 

• Deadline to submit Vendor Payments, Account Transfers, Deposits, etc.: May 14th 

All financial transaction requests must be submitted to the Office of Student Leadership and Involvement by May 14th. This is important because once the JHU fiscal year ends we will not be able to process any transactions that happened in the 2020-2021 school year.  

Updated Budget Balance 

The updated budget spreadsheet will be uploaded in Hopkins Groups Organizations webpage for review by June 25th. Also please make sure Finance officers are up to date in Hopkins Groups! Please allow 5 business days to process.
