Mission
At the Johns Hopkins University chapter of Tau Beta Pi, we have served students for almost one hundred years since the chapter's inception in 1921. Our chapter activities include promoting interest in STEM in the community through workshops at local schools, professional development and networking with alumni and companies, and more. We are the first Tau Beta Pi chapter in the state of Maryland and have proudly honored over 2,500 engineering students during our existence. Membership is a recognition of your academic scholarship and a challenge to foster a spirit of engineering excellence and community service wherever you go.

Membership Benefits

You will receive an invite if you are eligible. Only juniors and seniors are taken into consideration. If you are a freshman or sophomore, we will hold a few events open to the general student body, so please be on the lookout!
