About Us

AED offers opportunities for pre-health students to engage with each other and the community in a meaningful way

Professional Development

We organize the Conversations in Medicine Lecture Series that is open to the entire Hopkins community, workshops on the health professional school admissions process, and other professional development with current medical school students.

Community Service

Our members partake in community service at the medical campus and in the wider Baltimore community. We have a wide range of partnerships so that our members can interact with many diverse aspects of the community.

Mentorship

We organize a mentorship program for Hopkins underclassmen interested in entering a healthcare field. In addition, AED members gain access to mentorship from medical students at the Hopkins School of Medicine.
