Helloƒôó
Welcome! We are the Alternative Protein Project at Johns Hopkins. What is the Alternative Protein Project, you ask? Well, we are a global student movement dedicated to turning universities into engines for alternative protein education, research, and innovation. Our group comprises undergraduates, graduate students, post-doc, and professors who are passionate about reshaping animal agriculture away from the animal. Students are the driving force behind the Alt Protein Project, which is building momentum at universities around the world. Our parent organization is the Good Food Institute, an international nonprofit and leader in supporting alternative protein science, policy, and industry.
For our new members who we recently met at SIF, thank you for signing up -- we're so excited to have youƒÑ│! For our returning members, we can't wait to see you again! Our first general meeting of the semester will be on Monday, February 13th from 6-7 pm where we'll give an overview of our chapter and mission and how you can get involved! This is the slide deck with all/most of the information we'll be presenting (it's a lot!). Feel free to email with any questions, comments, etc. Hope to see you there!
Kindly,
Emily Yao
