We would like to create a space where both experienced players and those who have never played before can enjoy the best trading card game ever. Magic: The Gathering can be hard to start playing due to the financial and social roadblocks, but it doesn't have to be that way. Members of the club will be able to play together with both real and proxied cards, brew decklists together, draft together, and go to local events around Baltimore together, and school support will make the game more accessible to everyone.

Peabody Chinese Music Ensembles (PCME) is a director-led, student-run performance collective uniting three ensembles: the Peabody Chinese Chamber Orchestra (traditional repertoire and newly composed works on Chinese instruments), the Sino-Western Composers’ Lab (working closely with composers on hybrid creations), and the Chinese-speaking Chamber Chorus (new and student-composed works in Chinese). We rehearse weekly and present high-quality concerts each semester—not only to honor the long, luminous line of Chinese music, but to invite the entire Peabody community into the making of the new, where we transcend national and cultural boundaries into trajectories where old and new, Chinese and Western, enter into one dialogue—so that what feels like home can be heard afar, what sounds like old can be brought to life. We build community as seriously as craft—through mentorship, open workshops, and bilingual outreach—opening a wide, welcoming landscape of participation for the Chinese community and its allies: players and composers, singers and learners, partners and listeners.

The purpose of the Peabody General Assembly shall be to create and maintain transparent communication with the Conservatory and University Administration, promote active student engagement and advocacy, and improve the quality of campus life for every student at the Peabody Conservatory.

Improve GBM turnout and engagement

Goal 2:
Increase transparency in communication between Deans and student body -- especially with the ongoing Freidberg renovations and the upcoming dormitory renovations into practice rooms.

Goal 3:
We would like to increase election participation, from both the contesting and voting standpoint. We would like to increase the number of people running for positions, and increase the number of student voters.

Our Purpose: to engage in meaningful fundraising and awareness activities to support the Sunrise Association, a nonprofit dedicated to bringing back the joys of childhood to children with cancer and their siblings around the world.
