See the message below from the Office of Graduate Biomedical Education regading GSEF!
Dear Students,
We hope you continue to remain safe and healthy during this time.
In partnership with the JHM Alumni Association and SOM Alumni Relations, the Office of Graduate Biomedical Education is soliciting applications for the SOM Graduate Student Emergency Fund (GSEF) to help alleviate temporary financial burdens.
Funds will cover one-time expenses incurred by students who have experienced a temporary financial emergency. All students who are currently enrolled full-time in any School of Medicine graduate biomedical education program are eligible to apply. Examples of eligible expenses include medical expenses or household expenses creating significant financial burden. Funds are not intended to cover tuition.
As we seek to provide support from this fund, please note that funding is limited (awards will be need-based), and we are unable to guarantee the ability to meet all requests.
How to Apply:
Students may fill out the application form and submit online here (https://forms.office.com/r/mZNf4ytx8C) with all necessary supplemental materials by Friday, February 24, 2023 at 11:59pm.
Please upload any supporting documentation to help us understand your financial circumstance. Applications materials are confidential and will be reviewed by faculty and staff from the Office of Graduate Biomedical Education.
Please do not hesitate to reach out to us with any questions or if we could be helpful in any way.
Best regards,
The Office of Graduate Biomedical Education
