Dear Students,
The Johns Hopkins University Diversity Innovation Grant Challenge (sponsored by the JHU Office of Diversity and Inclusion) is now open. The Diversity Innovation Grant (DIG) was established in 2012 to fund activities that refine, enhance, or otherwise disrupt current practices with the aim of advancing diversity, inclusion, and equity throughout the institution. The grant is awarded and administered through the Diversity Leadership Council (DLC) with oversight from the Office of Diversity and Inclusion.
For the 2022-2023 Academic Year the DIG Challenge asks applicants “What Would You Change About Hopkins?” Projects that identify a diversity, equity, and inclusion related issue and proposes implementing a best practice to address that issue.
All Johns Hopkins students, faculty and staff are eligible to apply as individuals or groups.
This challenge is open for the submission of ideas between November 22, 2022 and December 13, 2022, and voting of ideas between December 19, 2022 and December 30, 2022.
More information about the Challenge and the submission portal can be found here: https://myidealab.jhu.edu/c/campaigns/54554/about
Best wishes,
