Hello School of Medicine Students!
This is Katie Labor from the Office of Graduate Biomedical Education and I wanted to let you all know about our new Laptop Loaner program!
This is a program intended to help students who either have a broken laptop in the shop or are trying to accrue funds to purchase a laptop to replace a broken one. We have four Dell and one Mac laptop available for short term loan. They have on them common software programs in use in the SOM but loaners will have the ability to download extra programs as needed onto the laptops.
This is a free program, and no cost will accrue to the student. A department coordinator or your Lab PI will be required to sign off on the loan contract for the laptop. If all five laptops are out, students will be placed on a waitlist with priority given to level of need and time that the laptop will be out. This program is only intended for PhD, MA, and PhD/MD students enrolled in the School of Medicine.
