About Us

The Black Graduate Student Association (BGSA) is a professional and social network for graduate students of African descent at Johns Hopkins University’s Krieger School of Arts & Sciences and the Whiting School of Engineering. The BGSA is an interdisciplinary, multi-ethnic Black organization that supports the academic, professional, social, and emotional well-being and civic engagement of Black graduate students on the Homewood Campus.
