About Us

The purpose of the Indigenous Students at Hopkins group is summarized by three main goals: 1. Presenting discourse on campus through thought-provoking events, speakers, and debates on issues including the environment, health and medicine, policy, and cultural issues. 2. Promoting awareness of culturally significant days, events, traditions, as well as promoting awareness of Indigenous culture and Indigenous students when making policies on the University, City, State, or Federal level. 3. Providing a community to new Indigenous students by hosting cultural events, learning of their own culture and history, and by gathering to support or fight against causes that impact our community on campus or in our home communities.
