About Us

Humanitarian Organization for Medicine and Equity (HOME) is a student-led organization founded at Johns Hopkins University. HOME aims to bridge the gap between humanitarian education and application in health care by providing professional development and service opportunities to students and community partners. We are driven by the vision to mitigate the effects of humanitarian crises born out of conflict, neglect, disaster, and disparities in local and global populations. With compassion and determination, we hope to build a movement for global health equity. HOME's mission is create educational and service opportunities for the JHU community to engage in ethical, meaningful, purposeful community work.
