Pre-Health Peer-Mentor Program

The Office of Pre-Professional Programs and Advising launched a Pre-Health Peer Mentor Program last year to support Johns Hopkins University freshmen and sophomores in their pre-med/pre-health pursuits. Students may request to meet with a peer mentor if they need general pre-med/pre-health guidance or have inquiries about extracurricular activities. We encourage prospective mentees to browse through our current cohort of mentors and then complete a short request form. After the form submission is received, we will connect each prospective mentee with a peer mentor, who will then coordinate an initial meeting and potentially additional meetings as needed. The Peer Mentor Program aims to enrich pre-med/pre-health related support from the Office of Pre-Professional Programs and Advising as an adjunct to one-on-one consultations with a Pre-Professional Advisor.

Yale Physician Assistant Online Program--Webinar

Yale School of Medicine (YSM) is advancing the physician assistant (PA) profession by educating the highly proficient PAs the country needs. As the nationwide shortage of primary care physicians grows, YSM is bringing more health care practitioners to patients with Yale’s blended physician assistant program. Yale’s PA Online Program awards a Master of Medical Science (MMSc) degree and prepares graduates to seek licensure as physician assistants.

The Yale PA Online Program prepares patient-focused clinicians who can choose to learn in their own communities.
