Register for JHU Future Fest Happening September 24 through October 1!

What is Future Fest?

The Life Design Future Festival is a 100% virtual "career fair" that reimagines traditional employer/student engagement. Borrowing the structure of music festivals, the main event runs from Sept. 28 to Oct. 1. It is an immersive experience that combines networking, professional development workshops, a career-fair style tradeshow floor, and engaging speakers and concerts.

What is the schedule and how do I register?

Each day consists of a tradeshow floor where students and employers can engage with each other and network. You can view the employers who are participating each day, and then register for the day/s you wish to attend. More information and registration for the tradeshow can be found using this link.

In addition to the tradeshow floor, there is a wide variety of individual webinars, competitions, and performances on various "stages." The four-day lineup of events can be viewed on the Future Fest website. You can register for these events by searching for "Future" on Handshake.

Is there a limit to how many events I can attend?

No. We hope you will be a part of as many Future Fest events as you can! All events will be held virtually.

How can I prepare for meeting employers?

See just below!

Prepare for Future Fest at the Soundcheck

Borrowing the structure of music festivals, the Life Design Future Festival is a 6-day immersive experience that combines networking, professional development workshops, a career-fair style trade-show floor, and engaging speakers and concerts. The first two days are “soundcheck sessions” designed to help YOU be your best and preview what the festival stages will be like! J

Drop-in throughout the day to get a behind the scenes look, pick up some resume/interviewing/networking advice tips and tricks, learn new ways to tell your story either verbally or digitally, and much more! Use the links below to register and see a detailed daily schedule.
