October 9, 2023
Hello First_Name!
We hope you are making the most of this beautiful Fall weather. Whether you are in the mood to kick off Halloween early or want to share your thoughts at the General Body meeting, we got you covered! This week, we have Fall Fest fun, Haunted Unger and so much more.
For the latest information on Peabody performances, be sure to read the Peabody Events newsletter or visit peabody.jhu.edu/events.
Fall Break
As many have noted, we have listed October 19 as Modified Course Schedule, TBA on the Academic Calendar. On that day, classes and ensembles will not meet at Peabody. Instead, many students will be involved in the opening of the new building in Washington, DC.
For several years, we have had a two-day fall break. October 19th is the first day of what would have been a two-day fall break. As such, nothing official will be scheduled at Peabody on that day. However, we recognize that some faculty may be working independently to make up lessons, so please check with your teacher. Otherwise, if you are not called for a 10/19 performance in DC, you will have the day off to relax, recoup, and reflect.
