Peabody Internship Pathways

Apply to off-campus/hybrid FWS internships – deadline is TODAY, Sept. 11! You’ll gain real-world experience with employers like Opera Baltimore, Candlelight Concert Society, and Community Concerts at Second. Each internship will provide mentored skill-building opportunities and impactful career experiences and connections.

Additional FWS teaching opportunities are available with BSO OrchKids and Baltimore School for the Arts, with deadline to apply by Sept. 18.

Ensemble Management Interns

The Ensemble Office is actively hiring Ensemble Management Interns, who assist with the management and attendance of Peabody's large ensembles. The Ensemble Management Interns at Peabody function primarily as Personnel Managers and will occasionally be assigned as stage crew, ushers, and in the second year of their internship, assistant event managers, and are responsible for the day-to-day management of their assigned ensembles. This includes, but is not limited to, ensuring all ensemble rehearsals and concerts operate within their specified timeframes, establishing effective communication with faculty and guest conductors, and addressing personnel issues. Students will need to be graduate level, and work-study eligible. Please find more information on SMILE.
