We are excited to announce that applications are now open for the AAP Student Government Association (SGA)! This is a great opportunity for you to get involved, develop leadership skills, and make a meaningful impact on the AAP community.
Key Dates:
- Application Deadline: September 17th at 11:59 PM ET
- Public Announcement of General Members and Final Candidates for Executive Board and Co-Chair Positions: September 23rd, 2024
- Public Elections Period: September 30th - October 11th, 2024 (Voting opens at noon and closes at 11:59 PM ET on Hopkins Groups)
Application Details:
- General Membership: Open to all AAP students.
- Executive Board & Co-Chair Positions: Open to students who have completed at least one semester in AAP.
Membership Requirements:
- All SGA members must create a profile in Hopkins Groups. Hopkins Groups is a platform for student engagement, providing tools to join, manage, and connect with student organizations, events, and campus activities at Johns Hopkins University.
Additional Information:
- Modality: Hybrid, with meetings and events held both in person and virtually.
- Time Commitment: Members should expect to contribute approximately 5-10 hours per week for meetings, events, and other assigned duties (subject to change as new initiatives are outlined).
