We’re thrilled to kick off August with energy and a warm welcome to our newest members of the Hopkins family. The Peabody Campus Buzz will be your weekly stop for all the happenings around campus. From events to performances, and everything in between. With the first week of classes underway, this marks the beginning of an exciting journey. Whether you're finding your rhythm in new courses or settling into campus life, we’ve got everything you need to start strong- plus a few helpful tips to ease the transition.

Title VI Training

If you have not done so already, please be sure to complete your Title VI training as soon as possible. This is a REQUIRED training for both new and returning undergraduate and graduate students. You can access this training through MyLearning. If you have any questions, please let us know!
Week of Welcome (WOW) will be going on all week (8/25-8/29)
Peabody's Spring Student Involvement Fair is Wednesday, September 10th, 12-1:30PM on the Plaza. If your club wants to reserve a spot, please email Student Affairs, peabodystudentaffairs@jhu.edu, by Friday 1/12. Due to space limitations, we ask that clubs have no more than two representatives at their table. 

Academic Calendar

  • August 25th- First day of class
  • September 5th- Deadline (9:00 am EST) to add courses in SIS
  • September 12th- Last day to drop a course with a deletion; course withdrawal (W grade) period begins after this date
     

Holiday Reminders

  • September 1- Labor Day
