About Us

Women of Whiting is a graduate student organization that supports women in STEM through professional development, social, and outreach events. Our members are primarily from the Whiting School of Engineering, Krieger School of Arts and Sciences, and the School of Medicine. The organization is designed to serve masters students, predoctoral students, and postdoctoral fellows. Our aim is to build an inclusive and supportive community for women in STEM and to help students prepare for facing the challenges of graduate school and professional life.
