Let's Talk Conflict: Burkina Faso
Please join the Migration & Health Society for the fifth session of the seminar series, Let's Talk Conflict! This session includes an orientation to the current humanitarian crisis in Burkina Faso, and outlines the impacts of conflict and displacement on health, followed by interactive discussion with our speakers, Mathieu Bere, PhD (George Mason University) and Moumini Niaone, MD, MPH (former National Director of Community Health, Burkina Faso) to describe the background of the conflict in Burkina Faso and its impact on population health as one of the world's fastest-growing displacement and protection crisis. The event will be held on 28 May at 12pm-1:30pm EST, in-person with food, as well as virtually on Zoom. This event is held with support from the BSPH Student Assembly.
