Join us for the inaugural Lunar New Year Celebration at Johns Hopkins School of Nursing as we welcome the Year of the Snake in 2025! This exciting event marks the first-ever celebration of the Lunar New Year at our school, highlighting the cultural diversity that enriches our community. In collaboration with the Office of Student Affairs, the Office of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI), and Student Senate, we are proud to bring this vibrant tradition to our campus. The event will feature music, food, and various activities offering everyone a chance to experience the rich cultural significance of this holiday.

This celebration is more than just a festive gathering; it is a meaningful step towards fostering inclusivity and cross-cultural understanding at the School of Nursing. As we honor the Year of the Snake, a symbol of wisdom, transformation, and renewal, we aim to build connections and raise awareness about the diverse cultural backgrounds that make up our school community. We invite students, faculty, and staff from all backgrounds to come together, celebrate, and engage in this enriching experience, strengthening our commitment to diversity and mutual respect at Johns Hopkins School of Nursing!
