Despite medicine's impact in our lives and the world, there has been little attempt to help break the barriers between doctors and researchers and those who are affected by medicine on a daily basis. The Hippocrates Med Review is a medical journal that aims to humanize medicine to make it accessible to those who need the information the most: the patient.

Additionally, in recent years, the term "medicine" has been broadened to encompass more than just physical health; mental and economic health, through the lens of medicine, are increasingly important to a patient's quality of life. By placing an emphasis on domestic health, global health, biotechnology, medical humanities, and clinical medicine, we hope to spread the idea of new medicine, which looks at medicine further than what happens in a physician's room.

The Hippocrates Med Review aims to improve population health by tackling the information gap between patient and providers, train the next generation of caregivers to challenge their approach on the patient-provider relationship to make it more patient-centered, and empower the public to fight for their healthcare rights with increased health literacy.

We, the board of Hopkins Asian Medicine (HAM) Student Club, envision an integrative medicinal future that incorporates elements from both conventional and traditional Asian medical knowledge.

The Johns Hopkins Undergraduate Law Review was founded in December 2017 by then Johns Hopkins sophomore Kiana Boroumand. Comprised of undergraduate students in all disciplines, our staff is dedicated to engaging young voices and providing accessible, informed, and thought-provoking legal analysis.
As members of the greater undergraduate community, we strive to reflect the diverse interests and viewpoints of individuals within the Hopkins community and beyond. The Law Review has two main components: the online platform, on which we regularly publish articles, and the print journal, which comes out annually each spring. Poetry As Medicine (PAM) aims to explore the art of poetry through the lens of healing. We will read and discuss poems from various time periods with a focus on topics of healing—be it psychological, emotional, environmental, sociological, cultural, or else. Moreover, we will hold forums for members to explore poems and other relevant literature to explore how these narratives reflect perspectives on health and provided care. Although this organization is centered around poetry, we will also explore the benefits of empowering patients’ narrative expression through many creative mediums, such as art and storytelling. Last, members can sign up to volunteer at the University of Maryland Rehabilitation & Orthopaedic Institute to help hold our elective creative expression workshops for patients, as well as generally aid in a variety of rehabilitative services. The purpose of the journal is to promote philosophic discourse of the highest standard by offering students an opportunity to engage in open discussion, participate in the production and publication of an academic journal, and establish a community of aspiring philosophers.

Prometheus holds various undergraduate events, including a discussion forum that meets every other Tuesday in the fall to discuss philosophical issues that are not addressed in the classroom. In the spring, we host a seminar series in which we invite graduate students to deliver talks and lead discussion. Every April Prometheus hosts the Mid-Atlantic Undergraduate Philosophy Conference, where undergraduates present on their own work.

Prometheus also publishes an online undergraduate philosophy journal every year. Each issue contains a selection of essays on various philosophic topics submitted by undergraduates from around the world. We accept submissions every winter and publish the journal in the summer.

Smart Woman Securities is an organization whose mission is to educate undergraduate women on finance and investing, and our chapter is Hopkins' only all-womens' investment team. We are dedicated to building community, equipping our members with the core financial skills, and providing interactive experiences that allow our members to engage with successful professionals in the industry. We believe that SWS can help to empower a new generation of women with greater investment knowledge and financial influence. Through a 10-week seminar series in the fall, new members (Associates) learn the fundamentals of investing. The club has an executive board, which consists of committee chairs and the assistant leaders for each committee. Additionally, general body members serve to take advantage of the different events and resources set up by the executive board, and may apply for executive leadership positions.
