Unwavering Humanity


The Office of Student Affairs is seeking new leadership to take over the Black Graduate Student Association (BGSA). Earlier this year BGSA successfully held a "Do It for the Culture" Marketplace where they hosted local black owned businesses and a guest speaker panel at FFU during Black History Month. If you'd like to get involved and learn more please email carey_studentorg@jhu.edu.

ROMBA Conference
"The ROMBA Conference is the world’s largest gathering of LGBT+ business students and alumni. The event includes a variety of panels, workshops, receptions, and a career fair with 100 corporate partners across industries recruiting LGBT+ MBA talent. The conference is open to current students, alumni (post-MBAs), prospective MBAs, other business graduates and their active allies. Please contact Carey’s Pride Business Associations student organization leaders for more information.

Make sure your graduation date is correct: Accessing the Handshake consent form 

Visit SIS Self Service (sis.jhu.edu/sswf/go?apps) to sync your graduation date in Handshake with your graduation date in SIS.  
- Select Personal Info 
- Select Handshake Consent 
- Check Graduation Date, Major, and other items.  

If it is still incorrect, contact the Registrar to have your anticipated graduation date changed in SIS. 

To join: Review the "Navigating Handshake" video (17:22) for step-by-step directions and for more tips on maximizing the Handshake tool.
