Counsel AI
CounselAI is an AI-powered eDiscovery platform that helps attorneys better scrutinize evidence and build their cases. Through our fast, intelligent, and frictionless design, CounselAI creates a "SMART" case folder to help attorneys analyze voluminous case discoveries. Using a non-generative approach, we leverage top-tier natural language processing techniques to extract discovery data from a wide range of file types, classify documents into relevant categories, and summarize critical case facts — all while protecting attorney-client privilege. We employ transparent and translatable strategies to minimize legal liability for law firms.
Corti Track
CortiTrack solves the critical problem of cortisol monitoring through a revolutionary wearable microneedle patch that combines three key innovations. At its core is an advanced electroactive molecularly imprinted polymer (E-MIP) sensing technology that achieves medical-grade detection limits of 0.5 ng/mL with high selectivity for cortisol, enabling reliable long-term monitoring with just a 3-minute response time. This sensing capability is integrated into a novel dual-layer microneedle design to sample interstitial fluid (accessible in the upper layer of the skin) continuously, while an inner, E-MIP coated electrode array provides precise measurements - all directed through microchannels to replaceable cartridges for sustained use. The system is made practical through seamless user-centric integration, with wireless transmission to a companion app that uses machine learning to translate real-time cortisol data into actionable health insights and personalized recommendations. This comprehensive solution is uniquely compelling because it combines the precision traditionally only available in laboratory testing with the convenience of wearable technology, making continuous cortisol monitoring both practical and accessible for research, clinical applications, and eventually consumer use. Unlike existing approaches that trade off accuracy for convenience or vice versa, CortiTrack delivers both - enabling the kind of continuous, precise monitoring needed to effectively manage the broad spectrum of cortisol-related health conditions.
Deepnosis AI
Deepnosis's goal is to revolutionize personalized medication management through the power of machine learning. We provide predictive tools for healthcare professionals to minimize adverse drug reactions, and offer patients customized education for safer medication use.
Fetal Therapy Technologies
Fetal Therapy is a surgical procedure done on a pregnant mother where the goal is to operate on her fetus and fix a life threatening birth defect. We are developing a novel port system alongside the Johns Hopkins Center for Fetal Therapy to address the lack of innovation in fetal therapy technologies, significantly enhancing the safety of these complex procedures. The novelty of our device lies in its status as the first port system designed for use in the uterine environment. Working directly with the Johns Hopkins Fetal Therapy Center, we’ve created a solution that greatly reduces the rates of membrane rupture by having a smoother, less traumatic insertion process into the uterine environment, and minimizing the stress acting on the uterus during the procedure. Our port system integrates seamlessly into the current clinical workflow allowing for easy adoption by clinicians. This ensures that our solution is accessible and beneficial to as many patients as possible.
