Jeff Spitz is passionate about big ideas and the people behind them. He loves innovation — and especially the process of bringing clarity and momentum to ideas that matter. That mindset has shaped his career: from tackling public health challenges at the CDC, to helping healthcare startups sharpen their strategy at Sage Growth Partners, to launching new services at CVS Health, and driving growth at Wellinks, a virtual care company. Originally from Cincinnati, Jeff studied Environmental Studies at the University of Colorado and earned his MS in Healthcare Management at Johns Hopkins. He’s now Co-Founder and Partner at 1891 Angels, an investment network backing early-stage startups within the Hopkins innovation community.
