Presentation on the importance of basic healthy habits (sleep, balanced diet, movement), especially for disabled individuals. Discussion of how to establish healthy habits that are sustainable and accessible for everyone.

College students frequently neglect basic healthy habits, including getting sufficient sleep, eating a balanced diet, and exercising. Neglecting these basics has negative health impacts, which are compounded in individuals with disabilities. Unfortunately, disability can make it even more difficult to maintain healthy habits. Furthermore, popular wellness trends are often inaccessible to disabled individuals. The goal of this event is to help students find accessible, sustainable ways to maintain basic healthy habits, which have a ripple effect on physical and mental health.
