Hopkins Dining & OCS Present: Earth Month Bash

Celebrate Earth Month with Hopkins Dining as a part of Earth Month Bash! This elevated picnic will feature a sustainable buffet-style dinner, live band, outdoor games, activities and more!

The event is open all meal plan holders and other forms of payment are accepted as well (i.e. Dining Dollars, J-Cash, Debit/Credit). Advanced registration is required through the Transact Mobile Ordering App (instructions below) by Wednesday, April 1. Spaces are limited, so sign up today!

Hors d’oeuvres: Vegan Mushroom “Ricotta” Canape (contains tree nuts), Savory S'mores

Dinner Buffet: Berry Green Salad, Rosemary Roasted Fingerling Potatoes, Roasted Spring Vegetables, Chicken Cacciatore, Blackened Salmon with Citrus Cream Sauce, Vegan “Chicken Mozzarella” Bake

Dessert/Snacks: S'mores Bar, Trifle Bar, Popcorn


HOW TO REGISTER

How to Download the App:
Download the Transact Mobile Ordering App from the App Store or Google Play
Select Campus: "Johns Hopkins University-Homewood"
Login with your JHED-ID

How to Register:
Open the Transact Mobile Ordering App.
Select the "Hopkins Café."
Select your tender (i.e. Board Meals/Meal Swipe, Dining Dollars, J-Cash)
Then, select "Picnic for the Planet 2026" or "Picnic for the Planet Meal Swipe 2026 " at the bottom.
Next, click "Customize" at the bottom of the screen.
Then, select any dietary preferences, select "none of the above" if these do not apply. 
Then, click "Next" to continue to allergies and foods that you must avoid, select "none of the above" if these do not apply. 
Then, click “Add to Order"
Then, select "Checkout"; once at checkout, change the order date at the top of the screen to Friday, Apr. 3. If wrong date is chosen, it will create an error in your reservation. Your payment will be taken out of your account when you place the order.
Select "Pay" once complete at the bottom and then "confirm."
When you get to the event, stop by the check-in table to show your receipt and J-Card and get your wristband.

In the event of inclement weather, the event will take place at the Glass Pavilion in Levering Hall. Those registered will be notified in advance of the event if it has to be moved.
