Take an epic journey with HSO as we finish our season with a bang. William Grant Still’s haunting Phantom Chapel sets the scene with an ethereal look at the unknown, in this orchestration of Still’s piano piece. The evening, and the season, will culminate in a performance of Beethoven’s 9th and final symphony, a musical expression of the path from darkness to light and one of the greatest works in Western classical music history, featuring the powerful vocal quartet, JHU Choral Society, Baltimore School for the Arts Chorus, and Towson University Chorale..
