Join the Indigenous Student Nurses & Allies Association (ISNAA) for an inspiring food sovereignty event featuring guest speaker Chasity Salvador, an Indigenous farmer and midwife-in-training. Chasity will share her knowledge of traditional farming practices and guide us in exploring the connections between food and health. She will also teach us about the significance of traditional teas in Indigenous cultures. Don't forget to bring your own mug for a hands-on tea-making experience as we engage in storytelling, learning, and celebrating our connection to the land and food.
Food Provided (Teas and light snacks)
