About Us

The Johns Hopkins University Chapter of the Kidney Disease Screening and Awareness Program (KDSAP) strives to provide students with the opportunity to participate in community outreach events, promote awareness of kidney-related diseases, and increase interests in nephrology careers among its members. JHU KDSAP also offers speaker series and programs to expose its members to medical and scientific professions while building relationships with mentors. Through this, the organization targets undergraduate students to gain leadership and management skills as well as an early exposure to the lacking nephrology workforce. The goal of JHU KDSAP is to essentially improve the health and lifestyle of under-served communities while developing important skills and fostering interests in medicine among its members.
