In partnership with the Office of International Services (OIS), the Life Design Lab (LDL) invites any interested Hopkins student to an interactive workshop designed to foster connection, insight, and community.

The session will begin with introductions, an overview of F-1 and J-1 visa regulations provided by OIS, and a brief life design framework from LDL. This will be followed by a panel discussion featuring international professionals currently working in the U.S. on various work visas. Panelists will share their personal and professional journeys, offering reflections on the challenges, milestones, and strategies that shaped their paths. A moderated Q&A will give students the opportunity to engage directly with panelists, asking general questions about career development, job search experiences, and navigating conversations about sponsorship.

The second half of the program will include dinner and structured networking, where students can connect with panelists, JHU alumni, and current students who have used CPT or OPT during their time at Hopkins.

Our goal is to provide international students with meaningful exposure to real-world experiences and career insights, while creating space for dialogue, community-building, and support. This program is open to all students served by ILLD and is part of a broader collaboration with OIS and Future Fest to ensure broad access and impact across JHU campuses.
