Volunteer Assistance with 51st Annual Spring Fair Festival

Volunteer for Spring Fair 2022

Thursday, April 28, 2022, through Sunday, May 1, 2022.

• This year, Spring Fair is celebrating its 51st Anniversary, with the theme of “The Year of the Return” as all JHU affiliates and non-affiliates are invited to attend.
• There will be food on the Freshman Quad, fireworks, a Beer Garden, an Arts Marketplace vendor fair, the Culture Show hosted by OMA, a live concert in the Ralph O'Connor Center for Recreation and Wellbeing, a Paint Party, and programming/live music on the Beach.
• We will need volunteers for all four days, especially Friday and Saturday. 
• More details are available on the Spring Fair webpage, but the quick take is that Spring Fair will return fully in person with all of the exciting elements you have come to expect with this historic festival. 

If you are physically able and willing to sign up for shifts (2 to 3-hour shifts), we would greatly appreciate your time. More detailed information will be provided at a Volunteer Overview meeting on Wednesday, April 20, 2022, at 11:00 am. After signing up, you will receive the meeting link and details. (The Volunteer Overview meeting will record and share if you cannot attend).

If you have a Hopkins Group account utilize your Single Sign-on to log in. 

Note: Not all staff and faculty have a profile in Hopkins Groups. You do not need a profile to sign-up to volunteer. If you only want to sign-up to volunteer and do not want a permanent account please follow these steps to sign-up as a guest:

1. When you reach the sign-in page you will not click "JHU Login" you will click "All other: Sign-in below".  
2. The system will prompt you to create an account. "JHU User" will be an option, do not select it. 
3. The system will then display "First Time User". Please click "Sign Up"
4. Enter your guest account information and select "Guest" from the drop-down menu.
5. The system will send you a 6-digit code to verify your email address. Enter the code.
6.  You will then be redirected to the event to sign up for a time slot.

If you are a JHU staff or faculty member and want to set up a profile in the system:

• Accounts for staff and faculty must be entered into Hopkins Group manually by LEED staff. For permanent accounts please allow 24 hours for processing. Once accounts are created you will receive an email from HopkinsGroups@jhu.edu
