You can find the award descriptions here for reference https://studentaffairs.jhu.edu/sli/student-leadership-development/student-leadership-awards/.

Nominations must be submitted by Friday, April 2, 11:59pm, local time.

Student Leadership and Involvement, in partnership with the Center for Social Concern and Office of Multicultural Affairs, is excited to launch a new student leadership experience, Leadership Weekend, on April 2nd and 3rd.  Leadership Weekend is sponsored by the Leading Social Change Fund.

Leadership Weekend seeks to:

  • Engage 49 undergraduate students in leadership learning;
  • Enhance participants' leadership identity and leadership capacity; and
  • Encourage participants to approach leadership as a purposeful, collaborative, and values-based process that results in positive social change.
Leadership Weekend curriculum focuses on:
  • Awareness and recognition of individual strengths and the ways they contribute to the leadership process.
  • Acknowledgment and celebration of participants' capacity to change systems and lead the change they wish to see in the world.
  • Naming and understanding participants’ current leadership context and how to make a plan for continued learning and development.

The Leadership Weekend committee invites all students to apply if they believe they will benefit from this experience.

Applications are due Wednesday, March 31, 11:59 pm local time.
