REQUIRED SESSION for all incoming students. Retaking Our Story challenges students' perspectives on sexual assault prevention and the role they play in reshaping campus culture around gender violence. If you have any concerns about attending this session for content related reasons, please contact Alyse Campbell, Associate Director of Student Well-Being; Gender- Based Violence Prevention at alyse@jhu.edu or 410-516-5133.

2022 Sexual Assault Prevention Trigger Content Warning: The sexual assault prevention program discusses topics including intimate partner violence, sexual assault, stalking, harassment, survivor empathy, and consent. If you have any concerns about attending this session for content related reasons and would like an alternative option, please let your First-Year Mentor know. You don't have to share why, just that you would like an alternative to the presentation.

Should you not feel comfortable discussing this with your FYM, please contact Alyse Campbell, Associate Director of Student Well-Being; Gender-Based Violence Prevention at alyse@jhu.edu or 410-516-5133.

If you find the program to be triggering in any way, you are free to leave the room at any time. Confidential staff from Gender-Based Violence Prevention and the Counseling Center staff are available onsite (outside the training?), as well as peer support advocates through SARU, the student-led Sexual Assault Resource Unit at Johns Hopkins, for anyone who needs support or wants to talk about services available at JHU for sexual assault survivors.

You are always welcome to contact the Gender-Based Violence Prevention team for confidential survivor led support and problem solving at HopkinsGBVP@jh.edu or 443-927-3548.

You are also welcome to contact the JHU Sexual Assault Help Line 24/7 at 410-516-7333 at any time.
