SAIS Alumni Networking Night

The SAIS Africa Club and SAIS Black Student Union, in partnership with the Africa Focus Area, the Global Careers Office, and the Development and Alumni Relations office, propose hosting an Alumni Networking Night. This event is designed as an intentional, direct face-to-face and “mix and mingle” experience to connect current SAIS students with alumni from different regional positions across sectors. The event will follow the BSU Career Panel, a regional career panel featuring SAIS alumni and industry professionals who work at think tanks, consulting firms, and the USG in regionally focused positions. The panelist will be invited to join the Alumni Networking Night immediately after the career panel. The event will prioritize relationship-building through a combination of organized sector breakout sessions and interest groups organized by SAIS BSU and SAIS Africa Club.
The evening will prioritize relationship-building, professional exposure, and informal dialogue between students and alumni working in Africa, Asia, the Middle East, the Americas, and Europe/ Eurasia. Through a combination of structured networking and interactive activities, the event will create a warm and engaging atmosphere conducive to meaningful professional connections.
