This is the application for the 2025 Johns Hopkins SAIS In Person State Department Career Trek. This in person event will take place on Friday, November 14, 2025 from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm

Join the Careers in Diplomacy Club and SAIS Global Careers on the in person State Department Career Trek with SAIS Alumni! You will have the unique opportunity to hear about both the Civil Service and Foreign Service sides of the U.S. Department of State and have a chance to tour the Operations Center.

To apply, please submit your SAIS-format resume and cover letter or statement of interest. In your statement of interest, please share why you are interested and how you might add value to the trek. Per employer request, students must hold a U.S. citizenship or dual-U.S. citizenship. The application deadline is October 20th by 11:59pm.
