The MENA Club Welcome Reception is designed to bring together SAIS students, faculty, and members of the Johns Hopkins community with an interest in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region. As one of the first community-building events of the academic year, the reception provides an informal setting for students, particularly first-year students, to meet their peers, connect across cohorts, and begin building professional and academic relationships.
Attendees will have the opportunity to engage with faculty members outside the classroom, learn more about the MENA community at SAIS, and explore opportunities for collaboration, networking, and involvement throughout the year. Through conversation and community-building, the reception aims to foster a welcoming and inclusive environment for students interested in MENA-related studies, policy, and regional affairs.
