About Us

We are the Women in Cybersecurity (WiCyS) Student Chapter at Johns Hopkins University. The goal of this group is to foster and promote sharing of industry knowledge, networking, mentoring, and recruitment with an emphasis on gender equality in the field of cybersecurity. We seek to build a community of growth and support for women and male allies interested in security-related challenges and learning more about the latest security advances. We hold monthly meetings and events in an effort for students to collaborate and share their passion for cybersecurity while also creating a network of support and community.
