About Us

The Johns Hopkins Psychedelic Society serves as the academic and social hub for students and educators to connect over a shared interest in psychedelics and indigenous plant medicines. We foster psychedelic education from a kaleidoscopic perspective by exploring research and policy, building community, honoring cultural and historical connections, and celebrating the medicinal benefits that psychedelics and other altered states of consciousness can bring to mind, body, and spirit.

Our community hosts diverse events, ranging from Q&A's with psychedelic scientists, to guided meditation sessions, cacao ceremonies, psychedelic documentary nights, and more. Our members meet with these values an intentions in mind:
