About Us

The mission of the Johns Hopkins University Muslim Association is to create a stronger bond among Muslims in and around the Baltimore Area. Through our endeavors we hope to provide a space for students to practice their faith while fostering a sense of community through social and religious programming. Additionally, JHUMA strives to educate the greater Johns Hopkins and Baltimore community about Islam through awareness and interfaith events. We wish to provide correct and authentic information, for both Muslims and non-Muslims, regarding true Islamic theology and the Fundamentals of our Faith.
